Hello from your doula, Malorie melson

As a birthworker for almost 3 years, I have heard my fair share of stories. Birth stories, meet cutes, forgiven traumas, relationship trials & uncanny connections. Tales that make up a person’s identity.

In order for you to trust and have vulnerability with me as your doula, I’ll be vulnerable with you!

I am a mother of 2 sons, a wife to a lobbyist, a degree holding former costumer & fashion girlie, a seasoned business owner, a self-proclaimed artist and crafter, a big reader, a GIRL POWER advocate & a compassionate doula.

I think that about sums it up! (Oh, and I am Taurus Sun, Aquarius Rising and Gemini Moon if you’re into that kinda stuff…)

our birth stories shape us.

And mine is no exception.

My first was a beautiful unmedicated birth center birth on Christmas morning. I will spare you the details but yes, it really was that dreamy!

The second was different story! My second little guy came along after a wild labor experience ultimately being delivered via belly birth (c section in case you didn’t get that).

My VASTLY different experiences showed me the breadth of possibility and ultimately lead me on the my path to doula work.

I am called to show you what you are capable of and to enable you to achieve it.

as a doula, I believe you get to choose.

You should feel informed and empowered to make choice that YOU are comfortable with. I believe birth gets it’s power from within.

Being able to identify what is best for YOU will release your power and lead to a birth experience that is memorable in the BEST way.

I want to support you in your path to clarity on your choices and confidence in decisions. Whatever those might be.
